Travel & Tourism

This course is 100% coursework so students do not have one big exam at the end of Year 11. One of the huge benefits of this course is that they can keep submitting work until it is to the desired standard.

As part of this course students study the following 3 compulsory units : The UK Travel and Tourism Sector, Understanding Customer Service and Understanding The Nature and Effects of World Travel.

On top of this students study another 3 option topics including developing customer service skills in travel and tourism and UK tourism destination.

The students are awarded one of 4 grades: Pass (equivalent to two C's), Merit (equivalent to two B's), Distinction ( equivalent to two A's) and Distinction* ( equivalent to two A*).
