This vocational course is a single award under the WJEC exam board. Directly related to the workplace it offers a broad basis for further education, training and employment within the industry.

During the course you will…

• Complete a range of practical assignments, including individual products and meals
• Be tasting, testing and working with new and unusual foods
• Develop an awareness of the hospitality and catering industry and how it functions
• Study for an Award in Food Safety in Catering
• Work with a variety of food commodities to produce dishes for different occasions
